stabilizer plug-in

To reduce camera shake I used to work with 2D3 steadymove. This plug-in doesn't work anymore with Premiere Pro CS4.

So I tried a demo version of Mercalli. It didn't do a good job. No matter how I tweaked it, the results were rediculous.

Does anybody have a tip? What is the best plugin for Premiere CS4, or stand alone application to reduce camera shake? I don't want to spend a lot more than 100 bucks for this. What is the best way to go?

By the way, can't Adobe develop such a plugin to go with their CS4?

Kind regards,

Erik

Excuse me, I have to correct myself about Mercalli. It does work. I had some problems with the borders.

But still, are there alternatives? Does someone have a complete list of stabilization software to compare?

If you have the suite and have AE; you can use it's tracker tool to stabalize footage.聽 Its built in and free. (if you have ae)
