Akamai Download manager (ADL) freezes...

I have been downloading the trial version of Acrobat 9.聽 This requires the Akamai Download manager.聽 It runs okay, but if I click the Details button while the download is in progress, it freezes.聽 First* the browser window froze and couldn't be shut normally, later** when I tried this again I could close the browser window normally, but the download had still stopped and couldn't be restarted.聽 It seems to be a bug.

Windows XP : Version聽聽聽 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600

Firefox : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011913 Firefox/3.0.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

Internet Explorer : Version 7.0.5730.11

Note:

*Cache in both browsers initially set to 10 MiB, **then increased to 500 MiB, but I'm sure this wasn't the cause as the first time around the download got to about 120 MiB.
