create a pdf from an arabic wiki page

hello there!
I come across a nasty probleme whil trying to create a pdf from a wikipedia page:

I go to File--%26gt; Create PDF --%26gt; From web page, then I choose an arabic page (example adobe entry from wiki http://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%B4%D8%B1%D9%83%D8%A9_%D8%A3%D8%AF%D9%88%D8%A8%D 9%8A )

the result is a missed up, ther's no arabic text, only latin text appears!

I have installed arabic/hebrew language support to windows from regional settings.
hebrew displays good but arabic not.

I use Acrobat 9 Pro version 9.1.0 on a Windows XP SP3 English.

from some searches on the net i found that i must buy the adobe CS4 Middel east version, and that will be bad to buy two versions of the same product just for one littel thing such as arabic/hebrew .

is there any solution other than this hard choise?

thank you.

This is supported in Arabic version of Acrobat 9. Do you have that?

This means that i should pay another US$2,499 for another Adobe CS4 Master Collection Midel East just to add arabic support to adobe products !?

come on Adobe, I know u got a free solution out there to make all adobe products support Arabic.

Check the updates page under DOWNLOADS at adobe.com and see if some of the updates include the language option you are looking for. I don't use those versions, but that may be what is needed. I don't know where $2499 comes from, unless that is the cost of the full suite. Acrobat is only a few hundred.

thank you Bill@VT

the current price for adobe CS4 MC is $2499 and the price for the arabic聽 $1895, the reaseon why i must have both two, is because, all adobe products don't support arabic, and ther's no free plugin available, adobe gives their products to this company AramediA they do arabic versions of adobe products!

I think this is bad for end users, no?

But do you need the entire CS suite, or just Acrobat? If just Acrobat, I am sure you can get it at a lot lower cost.

As I said above, non of the adobe cs4 Master Collection supports fully arabic type.

I need to be able to write arabic in Photoshop, indesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere..

I taught CS4 will come out with this option of arabic typing included, but I found that you must by another set of Adobe products arabic enables from the Winsoft company.

a temporary solution is to download the arabic trials found here; http://www.winsoft-international.com/en/downloads/trials/ and use them to make the things that you need in arabic, then聽 delete them and keep using the English CS4.. this is helpful when you have only to work with one project with arabic type, but, this doesn't work, as the trials wil expire and you have to buy licenes again.

Bottom line is that if you want full Arabic support you have to buy the Winsoft versions of Adobe's products. You should have checked this before buying the non-ME version.
